The Club and the League

The Mile High Pétanque Club:

Club play is designed to promote and publicize the game of pétanque in the community through free, regularly scheduled play on public terrains around the Denver Metro area.  Club play is open to anyone with no commitment or requirements.  This level of play is intended to be casual and non-competitive.

The purpose of this type of play is to develop a strong base of players with a range of playing abilities, interested in meeting and joining other pétanque enthusiasts in the area.

The West Central Suburbian Boules League:

To meet the needs of more competitive players within the Mile High Pétanque Club, the West Central Suburbian Boules League will continue the tradition of competitive league-style play with a singles and doubles league running throughout the summer.

The singles league has formed into the National Pétanque League.  The site is linked below.  Visit the NPL website by clicking on the link below.  Teams in the doubles league will be required to play every other team within the doubles league three times between the beginning of the season and the Doubles League Championship ‘The Awesome Bowl’ held at the beginning of October.
